Shipping Policy

At Dog.Dog.Cat., we work hard to ship your order quickly, accurately, and with the same care we put into everything in our store. Below is our shipping policy for orders placed through our online store.

Order Processing Time

  • Most orders are processed and shipped within 1–2 business days
  • During peak seasons, promotions, or holidays, processing may take an extra day — but we always aim to get your items out as quickly as possible
  • Orders placed after 12 PM PST may begin processing the following business day

Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on carrier, order weight, and destination.

Standard delivery times typically range from:

  • 2–7 business days (Continental U.S.)
  • 3–10 business days (Alaska & Hawaii)

Please note that delivery speeds depend on the carrier. Once a package is accepted by the carrier, transit time and delays are outside our control.

Free Shipping

From time to time, we may offer free-shipping promotions. If available, the promotion terms will appear automatically during checkout.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all U.S. states and territories served by major carriers. International shipping is not available at this time.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking link via email. You can track your package directly through the carrier's website using the tracking number provided.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

If the address provided is incorrect:

  • Contact us immediately at info@dogdogcat.com or call (530) 541-2322
  • If the order has not shipped, we will correct it
  • If it has already shipped, carriers may not allow changes, and Dog.Dog.Cat. is not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect addresses

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Packages

Once a package is accepted by the carrier, responsibility for delivery transfers to them.

If your package is lost, delayed, or arrives damaged:

  • Contact us immediately at info@dogdogcat.com with photos if applicable
  • We will assist with initiating a claim or replacement when applicable
  • Please allow the carrier's required investigation window (typically 7–10 days)

Special Handling for Certain Products

  • Pet Food & Treats: We take extra care to ensure perishable items are packaged securely and shipped promptly
  • Dog Shoes/Boots: Questions about sizing before your order ships? We're happy to schedule a FaceTime call to help determine the right size and avoid returns
  • Fragile Items: Crates, bowls, and other items are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit

Returns & Exchanges

Return eligibility follows our 30-day return policy:

  • Items must be clean, unused, unworn, with original tags and packaging
  • Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged
  • Pet food and treats are not returnable unless defective, damaged upon arrival, or incorrect
  • Dog shoes/boots cannot be returned if worn outside
  • Dog clothing and wearables must be clean, unused, with tags attached
  • Dog crates must be in new, unused condition with original packaging
  • Items that have been chewed, damaged, or soiled cannot be returned
